NEWS UPDATES....Former
Neighbours star CHELSEA BLAKE will be in the UK
from 28 October-17 November. Chelsea who played
Simone Pritchard in the show, has also had roles
in Stingers and Good Guys, Bad Guys. She played
Cherry in the London run of Cosi at the New End
Theatre in 1999.

AUSSIE
GOLD. Darren Gray's consultancy contract as Director
Of Programming with the soon to be launched Aussie
Gold TV channel is now at an end. "It's been
a great experience but was only ever supposed
to be a temporary, consultancy arrangement,"
says Darren, "My initial contract was extended
three times but with the workload in running the
theatrical agency as well I couldn't do both."
"Darren has done a stirling job for us and
we wish him well," says a spokesman for Aussie
Gold. The channel has not appointed a replacement
to date but says it is still on course to launch
free-to-air on the Sky platform in the near future.
DARREN
GRAY and agency artists MARK HOLLIS, JOHN SCHOLES,
DAVID PRICE, WALLY GREEN and KATHLEEN McCORMACK
were all interviewed recently about the Australian
and UK entertainment industries on Bollywood TV,
Sky Channel 827.
MARK
HOLLIS (Wayne Elliott from Class Of 74) is living
in the UK these days. Keep an eye out for him
in the media as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations
for the first Australian soap aimed at the youth
market.
JOHN
SCHOLES the playwright and actor is now back in
the UK so keep an eye out for him! He has just
recorded a role in the audio play 'Dr Who: Dreamtime,'
a spin-off from the classic BBC series. John has
appeared in Aussie shows such as Water Rats, The
Young Doctors, The Restless Years and Homicide.
In the UK lead roles include those in Lovejoy,
Van der Valk and Z-Cars.
KATHLEEN
McCORMACK headlined the Big Band Blitz for the
fifth year running at York House, Twickenham on
14 May. Kathleen, who released more records in
Australia than any other artist also has a new
cd of her classic radio show out in the UK. She'll
be returning to Australia in December for a three
month revival concert tour and has been booked
into many RSL Clubs in NSW.
VAL
LEHMAN (top dog, Bea Smith, Prisoner Cell Block
H) has recently been in the UK. She appeared on
The Salon (Channel 4/E4), Rise (Channel 4), and
Dick And Dom In Da Bungalow (BBC1).
UK
VISIT.... ANNALISE BRAAKENSIEK will be in the
UK from 20 August until 11 September for a promotional
visit. Annalise was recently seen as the new hostess
on Bruce Forsyth's 'Play Your Cards Right' on
ITV and she has also starred in such series as
Home & Away, Heartbreak High, Pizza and Bondi.
Annalise was voted 'Sexiest babe most likely to
dominate the world in the new millennium,' by
British FHM.

artists DAVID PRICE (Dr Blackwood from The Sullivans),
WALLY GREEN (Xena Warrior Princess) and KATHLEEN
McCORMACK have, between them, recorded the voices
for the new Who Wants To Be A Millionaire gaming
machine which will launch across Australia in
